HOW TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR
All surgery times are by appointment. You may telephone or call in to the surgery to make an appointment with your Doctor.  Appointments are made every ten /fifteen minutes.  Longer appointments are available and can be arranged with the Receptionist upon request (longer appointments are required for procedures/insurance assessments/pre-employment medicals/care plans and forms to be completed etc.).  We are a family doctor practice and in the interest of continuity of care, you should see your own family doctor when possible.  During holiday and sick leave, it may be necessary to see one of the other doctors.

WHEN THE SURGERY IS CLOSED
If you require an after-hours home visit, please note there is a $200 out of pocket charge for this
service. Please call 03 8508 9955 if you wish to proceed to book an after-hours home visit.

 

HOME VISITS
Home visits are made, to patients of our practice, who are too sick to attend the practice and living within a 5km radius.  Home visits can be requested by calling the clinic and speaking with the nurse on duty, your request will be triaged. Please ring between 8am and 11am.

 

TELEPHONE CALLS
If you need to speak to your doctor you may ring the clinic, if the doctor is not able to take your call at that time, your details will be taken by the reception staff and the doctor will return your call. In an emergency your call will always be put through to a doctor.

 

INTERPRETING SERVICE
For patient who speak languages other than English an interpreter can be organized for them at the time of their appointment – please advise the receptionist when making an appointment.

 

PARKING
Parking is available in front of the clinic, there are two disabled parking bays.

 

TEST RESULTS
If you are referred for any investigations you must make a follow up appointment to see your doctor to receive your results.

 

FEE POLICY
All patients, who have a valid Medicare card will be bulk billed. If you do not have a valid Medicare card then there will be a fee for the consultation – cost of a standard consultation is $55.00, cost of a long consultation is $90.00. Work related injuries will be billed to the patient and payable on the day of consultation, a receipt will be issued for you to seek reimbursement from your employer. Specialist fees are to be gained from their office.

We constantly strive to give you the best possible care and attention. If you have any suggestions or are unhappy about any aspect of our service, please ask to see the practice manager who will be more than happy to listen to you. If you do not get any satisfaction thru this avenue then you may wish to contact the Victorian official complaints body;
