Dr Victor Antoun (pronounced An-ton) was born in North Sudan before studying Medicine in Egypt where he worked as a General Practitioner. He emigrated to Australia with his wife and three children in 1995 and very much enjoys the lifestyle that Australia offers. Dr Antoun worked in the mental health unit of New Norfolk, Tasmania, before relocating to Wagga in 2008 to resume his career as a General Practitioner. He joined us at Peter Street in 2008 and really enjoys working with us. Outside of work, Dr Antoun enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and reading his newspapers online.

Ranjan started his medical career in India. After completing graduation in medicine(MBBS), he completed Masters of Surgery and practiced as a trained general surgeon in India for 13 years before electing to come to Wagga Wagga, Australia in 2003. Ranjan worked at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for 2 years upskilling his emergency medical skills before achieving FRACGP from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP) in 2007. Ranjan has also completed the Diploma in Child Health from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead , Sydney and Diploma in Anaesthetics to upgrade his interest and skills in child health and acute medicine. Besides general practice, one day a week, Ranjan works as Post Graduate Senior Medical Educator with GP Synergy which is the only GP training provider in NSW. Being an academician, Ranjan writes and reviews articles for international medical journal , namely, Australian Family Physician (AFP) and has been an examiner and Quality Assuror Examiner at the RACGP since 2009 Ranjan has a keen interest in skin cancer assessment, diagnosis and management. He has developed special skill in dermatoscopy and dermatoscopic photography. This involves a careful complete skin examination through a powerful hand held microscope (Dermatoscope) and taking macro and micro photographs which are stored in electronic medical file for future reference. Being compassionate, cheerful, knowledgeable, kind and through, Ranjan’s areas of interest include sports, acute and preventive medicine, men’s health, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, heart diseases, cholesterol management and patient education. Ranjan is equally good at elderly care, women’s health, mental health, respiratory medicine, and all other aspects of general practice. Ranjan is trained and holds a certificate as Authorized Health Professional for Rail Industry Workers. He is a panel doctor with several renowned companies and is involved in their employees employment and pre-employment medical assessment. To cater for workers and students, Ranjan starts at 8:30am and works Monday to Friday except Thursdays when he enjoys teaching GP registrars. Ranjan loves being a General Practitioner. He believes in what William Osler once said, “ The Good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”
