Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST):

Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) is a style of manual therapy within the complementary and natural health industry. It requires 3 years of full time study.

A consultation will involve a brief assessment of the muscular and skeletal systems which will then form the basis of a specific treatment plan. This will help to restore normal movement and function, increase range of motion, speed up the recovery process from injuries as well as alleviating and preventing pain.

Treatment utilises various specialised soft tissue techniques. These include:

  • Muscle energy techniques
  • Myofascial release

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Stretching techniques and corrective exercise prescription
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage
  • Cupping

MST & Remedial Massage:

Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) and Remedial Massage can help with:

  • Neck and shoulder tension
  • Low back pain
  • Headaches, tension headaches, migraines
  • Postural related pain and dysfunction
  • Sprains and Strains
  • Sport and workplace related injuries
  • Tendinopathy
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Tennis / Golfer’s elbow
  • Stress and anxiety

So whether you have a new or old injury, muscle pain and tension, or just want to relax and de-stress after a busy week, massage can help!
