Service Fees

Fees are based on appointment length and complexity. A list of all our fees:

Fees and rebates are subject to change without notice. Procedures such as excisions, audiograms, ECG, spirometry and vaccinations, nursing services, wound dressings carry additional charges. For more details regarding our fees, please call our reception staff.

Children 15 years and younger will be bulk billed by all doctors.

All Gold Veterans Affairs card holders are bulk billed.

Dr Moreland – Fees apply – private billing for all patients between 16 and 75 years.

Dr Lavender – Books are currently closed to new patients. Mixed billing applies.

Dr Bosman – Mixed billing applies.

Dr Calder – Mixed billing applies.

Mixed billing – persons holding Health Care Cards or Pension Concession cards will be Bulk Billed. Persons without a government benefit are billed as per the fees above.

After Hours – commences from 1pm Saturday’s.

In order to run an efficient medical practice for our patients, a small fee of $20 is charged for patients who cancel with less than two hours notice of the appointment time.

Dr Moreland is an Australian Government Approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Provider.

All vaccinations and medications supplied by Caligem Health will incur additional fees.

An additional $35 will be charged for all excisions and $15 for all dressings.
Please check with our staff for skin clinic costs.

Repeat prescriptions may be issued to patients either during a consultation or following a phone request.

Patients requesting a repeat prescription by phone must allow 24 hours. To cover the doctor’s time in reviewing your clinical file, issue of the script and administration costs, there is a nominal charge of $25 for the to be collected or faxed and posted to a pharmacy.

Payment can be made over the phone by credit card.

If possible, please telephone before noon if a home visit is required.

Home visits are available for patients of the clinic who live within a reasonable distance of the practice and have a medical condition that prevents them attending the practice. We charge standard AMA rates, payable on the day. There is a partial rebate from Medicare.

Alternatively, after hours home visits are available in some areas through National Home Doctor Service.  This is a bulk billed service for evenings and weekends.  Phone: 137 425.

Receive information about services, waiting times and costs. Be given assistance, when you need it, to help you to understand and use health information. Access health information. Be told if something has gone wrong during your health care, how it happened, how it may affect you and what is being done to make care safe
  • Privacy – have your personal privacy respected. Have information about you and your health kept secure and confidential
