The key aspects of this role are:
- Manage a team of 8 (4 direct reports) with a focus on attention to detail, accountability and developing systems and processes.
- Our new $300 million finance facility (AFR Article: https://www.afr.com/street-talk/kkr-writes-300m-cheque-for-gp-clinics-chain-family-doctor-20250302-p5lgau) will enable rapid and continued growth via M&A
- this role will be a dynamic challenge that will enable you to develop and grow as the business evolves.
- Experience and knowledge of streamlining people and processes, ensuring accountability and integrity of the numbers will ensure success in this role.
- On site role in Hawthorn East and we will be moving to a new head office close to Camberwell Junction in the coming months
- Collaborate with the CFO in preparing and executing financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Mentor, coach and lead the Finance team
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, encompassing billing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger management.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of timely, accurate financial reports and analyses for management decision-making.
- Leading change and process enhancements across the organization
- Supporting month-end and year-end close process
- Manage cash flow effectively, forecasting and planning for future financial needs.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance and accounting functions.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory filings.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and financial analysis.
- Driving cost efficiencies throughout the business
- Documenting business processes and accounting policies for enhanced internal controls
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and reviewing tax lodgements
- Supporting financial analysis and modelling for future acquisitions
- Over 5 years experience as a seasoned Financial Controller for enterprise organisations.
- Must have completed CA or CPA certification
- Demonstrate excellent communication and management skills
- Have the ability to manage rapidly changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment.
- Are a motivated self-starter, with strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Be a strong performance manager with drive and enthusiasm to succeed as part of a team and deliver outstanding results.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to win the respect and trust of colleagues and customers

- Experience with MYOB Acumatica (MYOB Advanced)
