Family Doctor are seeking a full time Second In Charge to join our team at PVH Medical in Pascoe Vale, Victoria.

About the role:
As second in charge, you will assist with the delivery of efficient and effective administrative and reception functions, ensure the patient experience is aligned with our values, and step into the Practice Manager role to cover periods of absence.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Practice Manager with staff management and general administrative processes
- Assist the Practice Manager with implementing initiatives and promotions to improve Centre performance
- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and professional working environment
- Ensure processes and systems are in accordance with the National Standards of Accreditation
- Welcome and assist patients with enquires and appointments
- Provide administrative and financial assistance to patients
- Support the provision of accurate and timely financial and practice data
- Take responsibility for staff management and the efficient delivery of administrative and customer service aspects of the Centre in the Practice Manager’s absence
About you:
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Understanding of business operations in a healthcare practice
- Ability to multitask
- The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience using Best Practice software (advantageous)
- Critical attention to detail
- Previous leadership or supervisory position in a medical practice
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
