About the role:
The Practice Coordinator position is pivotal for the effective functioning of a medical centre. It requires a blend of administrative prowess, interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations. In this role, you will need to ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care while supporting the staff and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage the daily operations of the medical centre.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle billing and insurance claims processing.
- Monitor inventory and order medical and office supplies as needed.
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Provide information about medical procedures, policies, and services.
- Ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
- Staff Coordination:
- Supervise and support medical and administrative staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules and manage time-off requests.
- Facilitate communication between medical staff and administrative team.
- Conduct staff meetings and training sessions.
- Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure the medical center adheres to healthcare regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit reports on clinic performance and operations.
- Document all administrative activities and patient interactions accurately.
