Family Doctor is seeking a dedicated Practice Support Manager to manage projects, implement solutions, provide training and mentoring to our network of Practice Managers. This role is based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East. The candidate will be open to travel as required.

About the Role: 
We are seeking a full-time Practice Support Manager to provide additional support to our clinic Practice Managers. This role involves working closely with the Operations Team to achieve high-performing primary care delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • overseeing various projects and initiatives
  • providing online training support to Practice Managers
  • assisting in data review and corrective actions
  • accreditation support across the network
  • ensure tools and software are fully implemented and adopted across the network
  • leading the preparation of the weekly Practice Manager meetings
  • prepare the fortnightly clinic analysis, practice reporting and adhoc analysis of indicators
  • internal liaison for the Operations Team with Finance, IT, GP Recruitment and Property
  • Management of PIPs and WIPs across the network
  • Manage PRODA delegations for the Organisation
  • projects and tasks as delegated by the COO and Operations Manager (Practice Support)

About You: 

  • Experienced Medical Practice Manager of a General Practice  
  • Strong IT skills 
  • Strong business skills and understanding of the financial management of a medical business including Practice Incentive Programs 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the front end management, including Medicare rebates, debtor analysis, 3rd party claiming, etc. 
  • Experience with Best Practice Software essential. 
  • Experience in Practice Accreditation. 
  • Desirable: working knowledge of Automed, Hot Doc, Health Engine, Cubiko and Tyro.
