We operate 114 GP clinics across Victoria, Queensland, ACT, Western Australia, New South Wales and South Australia, caring for around 3.5 million patients a year. We’re growing fast and the kind of operational discipline that lets clinicians focus on patients while we run a tight commercial engine behind them. This is a role for someone who wants to put their fingerprints on a genuinely large portfolio, not push paperwork.

The role
The Property & Commercial Manager owns three things across our national footprint: property, procurement, and facilities leadership. You’ll lead lease negotiations and renewals, run national tenders across cleaning, utilities, waste, security and telecoms, and oversee the Facilities function that keeps 114 sites running.
You’ll report directly to the CEO, lead a team of two, and work hand-in-hand with our Finance team, Operations team and Practice Managers. Decisions get made at this table — not deferred up a chain.
Every dollar you save on utilities, every basis point you negotiate off a lease renewal, every supplier you consolidate — it lands straight on the bottom line. The scale is real. The mandate is real. The decisions are yours.

What you’ll actually do

  • Lead lease negotiations, renewals, acquisitions and subleases across 114+ sites — directly with landlords, agents and legal
  • Run national tenders and procurement for cleaning, utilities (electricity, gas, water), waste, security, telecoms, and operational suppliers
  • Drive supplier consolidation — fewer, better, more accountable suppliers across the network
  • Own utilities cost optimisation — billing audits, benchmarking, retender cycles, real savings
  • Lead the Facilities function while keeping day-to-day reactive work with the team
  • Support site expansion, relocation and new clinic establishment as we continue to grow through acquisition
  • Build the reporting that gives leadership real visibility on property and operational spend

You’re probably right for this if you

  • Have run commercial property, procurement or facilities at scale — multi-site, multi-state, ideally 50+ locations
  • Negotiate hard but build relationships landlords and suppliers actually want to renew with
  • Read a lease, a tender response and a utilities invoice with equal fluency
  • Have led a small team and know the difference between managing facilities and doing facilities
  • Are commercially sharp — you think in dollars saved, not tasks completed

Healthcare experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We hire commercial operators.
