Do you have a passion for mental health and wellbeing? Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of our patients? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team and support the work of our General Practitioners while also servicing your own patient load.

• Provide psychological support to patients within the General Practice Clinic setting.
• Collaborate with General Practitioners to deliver integrated healthcare services.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans for patients, fostering positive mental health outcomes.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in clinical psychology or counselling within a healthcare environment. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient groups.
• Relevant qualifications in Psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body.
• Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support holistic patient care.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
• Current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT or DBT.
