Do you have a passion for mental health and wellbeing? Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of our patients? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team and support the work of our General Practitioners while also servicing your own patient load.
- Provide psychological support to patients within the General Practice Clinic setting.
- Collaborate with General Practitioners to deliver integrated healthcare services.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans for patients, fostering positive mental health outcomes.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in clinical psychology or counselling within a healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient groups.
- Relevant qualifications in Psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based interventions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support holistic patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- Current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT or DBT.
