Rachel completed her medical training in Queensland in 2010 and completed her first two years of medical practice at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. She lived in the UK for 5 years from 2013 - 2017, where she obtained Membership of the Royal College of GPs (MRCGP) and on her return in 2017, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs (FRACGP). Rachel has a special interest is in women's health, sexual health and family planning, and she has a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). Rachel enjoys seeing people of all ages and backgrounds, with simple and complex problems. She enjoys building a relationship with her patients and getting to know them as a whole person. Rachel is married and has a 3 year old daughter, who loves swimming at the beach and climbing on playgrounds.
