Julie Hyland – Psychologist
Julie is an experienced psychologist with a caring and confident manner providing psychological services to individuals in Wagga since 1992.
She has vast experience working with clients across the lifespan from children to older people, from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
She has recently worked as a school psychologist, Headspace, private practice and spent many years as a counsellor at TAFE. Her initial training was as a vocational counsellor.
Julie is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Providing psychological interventions for anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, chronic health conditions, anger issues and grief and stress management.
Julie is trained in cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, suicide prevention and conflict resolution training and motivational interviewing.
