We have a number of FSP suitable locations across Australia – all are DPA and MM2+ in fantastic, busy and supportive medical centres. Family Doctor is a distinguished network of GP-owned and operated medical and dental practices across Australia. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care through the experienced general practitioners working at Family Doctor locations. The Fellowship Support Program (FSP) is a self-funded education and training program to support GPs in Training on the General Practice Experience Pathway to prepare for Fellowship.

Key elements of the program include:

  • authorisation of provider numbers under the General Practice Fellowship Program Placement Guidelines
  • training in accredited training sites providing Comprehensive Australian General Practice
  • administrative support and Medical Educator mentorship
  • workplace-based assessment to inform learning and progression towards Fellowship
  • education resources and small and large group learning opportunities
  • regular case review and supervision by accredited supervisors
  • exam preparation support
