Our team comprises 15 dedicated and skilled general practitioners as well as allied health professionals who work together to create a supportive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. 

The Role: 
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Camberwell Junction Medical Centre. The Practice Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the efficient delivery of healthcare services, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring a high level of service is maintained. 
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and accounting tasks. 
  • Implement and maintain quality management and continuous improvement processes. 
  • Familiar with Accreditation process with AGPAL. 
  • Address patient feedback and concerns promptly and effectively. 
  • Supervise and support administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and invoicing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Utilize Best Practice software to manage patient records, appointments, and billing.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar managerial role in a healthcare setting for at least 3 years. 
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills. 
  • Best Practice experience is essential. 
  • Cubiko, Automed and HotDoc experience is desirable.  
  • CDM understanding and nurse management skills advantageous.  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities and Human Resource Management experience essential.  
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in healthcare software and administrative systems. 
  • A qualification in healthcare management or relevant field is desirable. 
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards
