She joins our team having experience working in Wollongong, Launceston, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai & Royal North Shore hospitals.

She graduated from a Bachelor of Science and then a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in Victoria before moving to sunny Sydney to start a career in General Practice. She has also completed a Diploma of Child Health.

Clare Stewart completed her General Practice Training in 2021, after graduating from medical school at Sydney University in 2010. After graduation, she worked as a junior doctor in Orange, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Concord and Canterbury Hospitals, gaining further experience in paediatrics and emergency medicine in particular. She has completed additional diplomas and training in Child Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Emergency Medicine.
Clare currently works in a variety of general practice roles, including at Balmain Village Health, with the Royal Flying Doctors Service in Broken Hill, and occasionally in the GP Casualty at Balmain Hospital. In addition, she holds a role with the Voluntary Assisted Dying team for Sydney Local Health District, is involved with teaching and supervising GP registrars for the RACGP, and holds a number of positions with the Central Sydney Primary Health Network, including writing and editing clinical guidelines for other GPs.
Clare has strong interests in paediatric and child health, women’s and reproductive health (including contraception, unplanned pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal care, and menopause), and palliative and end of life care (including voluntary assisted dying), but she welcomes all patients. She is accredited to provide antenatal shared care with RPA Hospital. Clare enjoys providing longitudinal care for her patients and their families, aiming to provide a safe and inclusive consultation space for all. Outside of medicine, she spends time with her 3 primary school aged boys, husband and greyhound, usually at various sporting events around Sydney!

As an experienced practitioner and passionate scholar of medical health, Dr. Luo continued her medical research and graduated with a PhD in Renal Medicine at The University of Sydney. She then pursued a career in Medical Research in Australia and abroad in the United States for over a decade with special interests in Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes and Renal Disease. She acquired a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the University of Sydney and a Certificate in Women's Health from Family Planning, Australia.Dr Luo has worked in General Practice across NSW for over 12 years. She completed her medical training at hospitals in Sydney, extending her reach across a wide range of communities. Her training in mental health at St Vincent Hospital has offered extensive experience in various areas of Psychiatry. Her experience in Paediatrics at the Westmead Children’s Hospital has been valuable in management of Paediatric conditions.
