Dr Heather Courtney was born and schooled in Northern Ireland and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 1998 with her medical degree and Batchelor of Science (Honours) in Pharmacology. After working in the UK for 18 months she moved to Australia in 2000, initially working in Bundaberg and then moved to the Sunshine Coast to work at Nambour General Hospital. Here she continued her inhospital training before returning to Northern Ireland to complete her GP training, becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a Fellow of the RACGP in 2005.
Heather really enjoys her job and the variety of specialities within it . "I love that every day is different and I find the continuity of care of my patients, getting to know them and their families very satisfying". She is married with 3 children, a self confessed exercise and health fanatic who enjoys running, walking, cycling, the great outdoors, spending time with her family and travel.

Robert Roche graduated from Sydney University and then worked in several major teaching hospitals in New South Wales as part of his training for Rural General Practice before going overseas to England to obtain further training and experience in Obstetrics and Anaesthetics. He then returned to Sydney to do further training in Paediatrics before taking up Rural General practice, initially in West Wyalong before moving to Wagga Wagga where he worked for 8 years as a G.P., while also caring for medical patients and obstetric patients in the two local hospitals.
During this time he became interested in Occupational Health, especially the welfare of Commercial Drivers and was involved in the Healthy Eating Program for long distance Truck Drivers.
In 2000 he and his family moved to Buderim, where he has been working as a G.P. in the local area since.
Besides his family, his interests include scuba diving, wakeboarding, kayaking , body surfing, tennis, soccer and travel.

Dr Leanne Francis brings to Bundilla 12 years experience in outback Australia, at her own clinic in Mt Isa.
The born-and-bred Mount Isan studied at the University of Queensland before moving to Townsville where she trained at the hospital for four years.
She then moved back to her home town to go into general practice, where she eventually started Leanne’s Family Medical Centre.
Now we are delighted to have Leanne providing attentive care to our Mooloolaba patients!
Leanne welcomes all her Buderim patients to visit her at Bundilla Clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.00am to 2.00pm.

Dr Davina Miller is an experienced GP and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners; with an interest in Cardiology, Elderly Care, Paediatrics and Women’s Health. Davina studied at St Mary’s Hospital in London, graduating from Imperial College in 1998. She emigrated to Australia from the UK in 2011, working as a GP on Bribie Island for 9 years before she and her family moved up to Buderim. She has significant experience in child health care and women’s health, and is able to provide a full contraceptive service including the insertion and removal of IUDs, hormonal IUDs and Contraceptive Implants (contraceptive implantss). Davina is passionate about General Practice, and feels privileged to be able to share that by teaching medical students from Griffith University. Out of work she loves spending time with her family, travel, scuba diving and skiing

Christine was born and studied in the UK, graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1997.She worked in various medical specialties before completing her General Practice training in 2003. After meeting her husband, she spent 5 years working in South Africa before emigrating to Australia in 2008. She has worked as a GP on the Sunshine Coast ever since.Christine enjoys all aspects of General Practice with particular interests in women’s health, antenatal care and paediatrics.Christine loves living on the Sunshine Coast with her husband, three daughters and two dogs.

Dr Monga is a specialist GP and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has been in general practice for over 20 years. She was a qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist surgeon in India. She has also undertaken a skin cancer dermascopy course with Skin Cancer College of Australasia and at present is pursuing higher courses with them. She utilises her training both in India and Australia to do justice to all aspects of general practice: women's health- cervical screening test, mirena insertion, elderly chronic ailments , adolescent health issues, mental health problems and men's health. She is especially interested in doing skin checks and skin cancer excisions.

Martyn has a passion for ‘Cradle to Grave’ medicine, providing care across all stages of life, ranging from paediatrics to aged care. He also enjoys minor skin cancer surgery.
Martyn is originally from the UK where he obtained his medical degree from Keele University. He completed his hospital training across Devon, Cornwall and Birmingham before relocating to Australia in 2019, settling on the Sunshine Coast.
Since then Martyn has completed further training in Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Nambour General Hospital, before moving to Brisbane. Most recently, he completed his specialist GP training in the Northern Rivers region, working in rural communities.
He is very excited to be back living on the Sunshine Coast and setting up roots with his wife and family. Outside of the office he enjoys swimming, surfing, camping and exploring the outdoors whenever he gets the time.
