Billing Information

  • Burrum Street Medical Practice operates on a private billing system. Payment is required at the time of consultation.
  • We accept cash, credit cards, and EFTPOS. Medicare rebates can be processed directly to your account through Medicare Online – please ask at reception for details. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please discuss this with your treating doctor.
  • Note: Some Employment Medical bookings may require a non-refundable deposit.
  • To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least one hour before your scheduled time. Patients who miss two or more appointments without prior notice may incur a private fee equivalent to their last missed appointment duration.

Immunisations And Vaccinations

Burrum Street Medical Practice offers nurse immunisation services during regular business hours (Monday – Friday: 9.00AM – 5.00PM).

  • Childhood immunisations
  • Flu/Influenza immunisation
  • Flu vaccine provided free of charge* for vulnerable patients
  • Private flu vaccines (available at the practice) for all other patients

Telehealth Services

Telephone consultations have been made available by doctors consulting at this practice for patient convenience. Following your telephone consultation, your doctor may require a face-to-face consultation, in which case they will organise the appropriate appointment to see you in the clinic (*standard consultation fees apply).
