Dr Eoin McDonnell completed his undergraduate medical training and post-graduate GP training in Ireland, followed by a Masters in Sport Medicine. He worked as a GP in Ireland for several years before moving to Australia in 2012. Dr McDonnell has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management and Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr John Iyamu comes to us from the UK where he completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training, followed by GP training. He then went on to be a successful practice owner and principal GP before moving to Australia in 2016.
His special interest is in skin cancer management, both medical and surgical, and skin checks including the use of Dermoscopy & mole scan photography. He also does other minor surgical procedures for benign skin lesions including cyst removal, skin tag removal and benign lesion removal. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery and Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy from University of Queensland. For the last 6 years, he has led a skin clinic within a GP practice.
Outside of practice Dr Iyamu enjoys running, swimming, canoeing and spending time with his family.

Dr Katharine Merrifield has joined our practice in 2023 from the United Kingdom. Originally from South Africa, she acquired her undergraduate medical degree from the University of Cape Town in 2007. She has worked and trained in the UK since 2010, initially in Paediatrics where she achieved her Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She subsequently completed her General Practice postgraduate training and has worked within the UK primary health-care setting ever since. Dr Merrifield is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and provides holistic and evidence-based care. She has a special interest and experience in Children’s Health, Women’s Health, Elderly Care Medicine and Chronic Disease Management.
