Dr Priya Vadivel is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), with advanced training in obstetrics and gynaecology (DRANZCOG), and a special interest in women’s health.Priya previously worked as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in India and the UAE before moving to Australia in 2019. Since then, Priya has worked across regional New South Wales, including Bathurst, Gundagai and Wagga Wagga, building strong experience in rural and community-based care. Now happily settled in Wagga Wagga she enjoys being part of a close‑knit community and values the opportunity to build long‑term, trusting relationships with her patients.She supports caring for women at all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause and beyond. Her areas of interest include pregnancy and postnatal care, contraception, menstrual concerns, and menopause. She also offers procedural services such as contraceptive implants and hormonal IUD insertion and removal, along with basic skin checks and minor skin procedures.Priya is known for her warm, approachable style and takes the time to ensure her patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported in their healthcare decisions.Her approach combines clinical expertise with a strong emphasis on preventive health, immunisations, and chronic disease management, supporting patients to achieve and maintain long-term health and wellbeing.In addition to general practice, Priya works with the local maternity service and is involved in teaching medical students.Outside of work, she enjoys walking, yoga, Bharatanatyam, and travelling with her family.Dr Priya is welcoming new patients. Dr Victor Antoun (pronounced An-ton) was born in North Sudan before studying Medicine in Egypt where he worked as a General Practitioner. He emigrated to Australia with his wife and three children in 1995 and very much enjoys the lifestyle that Australia offers. Dr Antoun worked in the mental health unit of New Norfolk, Tasmania, before relocating to Wagga in 2008 to resume his career as a General Practitioner. He joined us at Peter Street in 2008 and really enjoys working with us. Outside of work, Dr Antoun enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and reading his newspapers online.

Dr Ajita Pandey MBBS, AMC, SCHP (Sydney Child Health Program)Dr Ajita Pandey is a compassionate GP Registrar with a background in hospital medicine and experience in caring for patients across all age groups. She is completing her training under Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in diverse healthcare settings in Australia, the Maldives, and Nepal, bringing a broad and culturally informed approach to patient care. Dr Pandey has a special interest in children's health and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centred care to individuals and families.

Dr Mekala Fernando was born in Sri Lanka and studied medicine there. She obtained her primary medical degree (MBBS) in 2009. She worked as a doctor for 14 years in urban and semi urban areas of her home country. She worked in government and non-governmental health institutions for more than 14 years. She also possesses more than 10 years of GP experience in Sri Lanka. She obtained MRCGPI in 2024.

Her areas of interest are adult medicine including chronic disease management, child health and health promotion.

Outside her work, Mekala enjoys playing the piano, reading novels online and spending time with her kids.
