Dr Muhammad Salman Afsar (Hollie Drive Medical Centre)
I’m a General Practitioner with 9 years of experience in general practice and primary care, with a strong focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centred care and developing long-term relationships with patients. I have also completed the MRCGP [int] South Asia.
My particular areas of interest include men’s health, women’s health, aged care, chronic disease management, and mental health. I enjoy supporting patients with ongoing health conditions through regular monitoring, preventative healthcare, lifestyle advice, and personalised treatment plans.
I particularly enjoy the continuity of care that general practice provides and the opportunity to build trusting relationships with patients and their families over time. I believe good primary care involves not only treating illness but also promoting prevention, maintaining overall wellbeing, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring new places and experiences. I value maintaining a healthy balance between professional and personal life.
I’m very much looking forward to working at Hollie Drive Medical Centre and becoming part of the local community. I look forward to meeting patients and contributing to the practice by providing high-quality, compassionate, and personalised care.
