Dr. Saha is a female GP who joined Mid Valley Family Medicine in 2008, she works full-time Mon – Fri. Dr. Saha completed her Australasian Medical Council examination in 2004 as an overseas graduate. She obtained General Registration in 2005 after working at Box Hill, Maroondah, Angliss, and Peter James Hospitals in Melbourne. She completed a General Practice Training Program under the RACGP IN 2009 and obtained a fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2010. Dr. Saha also works as a fellowship examiner with RACGP.

Dr Thivanka RanabahuGeneral PractitionerDr Thivanka Ranabahu is a friendly and compassionate General Practitioner who is passionate about helping her patients achieve their best possible health and wellbeing. She believes in taking the time to listen, understand each patient’s individual needs and provide personalised care in a warm and supportive environment.Dr Ranabahu graduated from Tianjin Medical University in China in 2010. She then returned to Sri Lanka, where she practised medicine until 2016, before moving to Australia.In 2019, she commenced working at Caboolture Hospital in Queensland, where she gained valuable experience in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery and General Medicine. In 2022, she began her career in General Practice in Morwell, Victoria.Dr Ranabahu has a special interest in women’s health, geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, preventative health and family medicine. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She is particularly passionate about supporting patients through different stages of life, helping them manage ongoing health conditions and encouraging a proactive approach to staying healthy.Outside of work, Dr Ranabahu loves spending quality time with her family, experimenting with new recipes, playing badminton and travelling to explore different parts of the world.

I’m a General Practitioner with 9 years of experience in general practice and primary care, with a strong focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centred care and developing long-term relationships with patients. I have also completed the MRCGP [int] South Asia.My particular areas of interest include men’s health, women’s health, aged care, chronic disease management, and mental health. I enjoy supporting patients with ongoing health conditions through regular monitoring, preventative healthcare, lifestyle advice, and personalised treatment plans.I particularly enjoy the continuity of care that general practice provides and the opportunity to build trusting relationships with patients and their families over time. I believe good primary care involves not only treating illness but also promoting prevention, maintaining overall wellbeing, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.Outside of medicine, I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring new places and experiences. I value maintaining a healthy balance between professional and personal life.I’m very much looking forward to working at Hollie Drive Medical Centre and becoming part of the local community.
