Dr Farook is an experienced specialist General Practitioner with a special interest in men’s health and skin cancer management.
Dr Farook obtained his MBBS degree in Sri Lanka in 2012. After moving to Australia in 2017, he worked in Emergency for two years in regional QLD. Dr Farook has over a decade of experience as a medical practitioner. Prior to entering general practice, Dr Farook worked in ICU, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine for five years. Dr Farook is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Farook has also completed a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery at Health Cert education.
Dr Aslam Farook consults at Shailer Park Medical Centre Monday to Thursday and Saturdays.
Outside of work, Aslam enjoys cricket, travel, and spending time with his young family.

Dr Elham Asadi (Ellie) is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer and Dermatology. Her passion is skin cancer detection, treatment and prevention with a goal of obtaining the best surgical outcome. Dr Ellie is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Ellie has also completed a Dermatology course with the Australian Institute of Dermatology. Dr Ellie also holds a certificate of Dermo copy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Advance Skin Cancer Surgery through Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Ellie is a Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor from Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Ellie Asadi is also registered with Redlands Hospital, Logan Hospital and Mater Mother's Public Hospital for Antenatal Shared Care.
Dr Ellie is a Private Billing Practitioner.
Our practice has changed our billing policy and no longer offer Bulk Billing Services.
PRIVATE FEES with Medicare rebates are payable at the time of consultation. Concession Card Holders or Children, 15 years and under are eligible for a reduced fee.
Skin Checks with Dr Ellie are also Privately Billed, but please note that any further treatment of procedures recommended by Dr Ellie will occur an out of pocket fee.
Dr Ellie consults at Shailer Medical Monday, Wednesday Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr Pillay will be on maternity leave from 4 May 2022.
Shailer Medical welcomes Dr Rachael Pillay to the team, Skin Specialist GP consulting on Wednesday mornings.
Dr Rachael is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery prior to moving into General Practice. Dr Rachael has extensive skills and experience in skin cancer surgery including facial flap and graft reconstructive surgery, having run solo day surgery theatre lists for Skin Cancer Surgery at the Mater Hospital.
Dr Rachael is a Member of Australian Institute of Dermatology and will be working closely with our Doctors on Skin Cancer Detection and Management for all patients of SPMC.
Dr Rachael will be performing Complex Skin Cancer Management Surgery and Skin Checks.
