Dr. Fernando Telles is a dedicated bulk-billing GP committed to providing equitable, inclusive healthcare to all patients, regardless of socioeconomic background, beliefs, or gender identity. His expertise spans cardiology—where he earned 1st place in the Heart Failure Prize from the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and received the Baker Heart Institute’s Prize for Publication Excellence—as well as holistic medicine and mental health, with a focus on lifestyle-centred care, including sleep optimisation, exercise, nutrition, and meditation.
Dr. Fernando’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Medical Science from The University of Sydney and a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction from The University of Melbourne, where he was awarded the Steven Chan Medical Student Prize for ranking 1st in his clinical school. He has also gained extensive clinical experience at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and has authored research in top journals, including Pediatrics and European Journal of Heart Failure.
An advocate for education, Dr. Fernando has taught at both Melbourne and Sydney Medical Schools. Outside of medicine, he enjoys carpentry and building, recently constructing a sauna to support his holistic health philosophy.

Dr Mahanama is a Specialist General practitioner, fellow of the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners who graduated from The University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2006.
Dr Mahanama has practiced medicine in both Sri lanka and Singapore before moving to Australia in 2016.
In Australia, he worked at multiple public hospitals in South Australia, Tasmania & Victoria providing much needed care for the regional communities, before moving into general practice & obtaining fellowship with RACGP. Alex has a passion for regional medicine and is looking forward to gaining experience in a rural GP practice as part of his rural generalist fellowship program. He is interested in treating patients from all backgrounds with all conditions with a special interest in emergency, trauma and injury as well as low carb diets!
