San Remo Medical Clinic is situated in Marine Pde, San Remo. The clinic adjoins the San Remo Pharmacy and is clearly visible as you turn into San Remo immediately after coming off the Phillip Island Bridge.
With up to four general Practitioners and at least one Nurse available at any time San Remo Medical Clinic provides consulting sessions five days a week. Small surgical procedures such as skin cancer removal are undertaken on specific days. A pathology collection service is also available on site Monday to Friday, 09.00am – 3.00pm (Closed between 1.00pm – 1.30pm).
In May 2013, the Medical & Aged Care Group acquired the practice to move the facilities and services forward in meeting the ongoing health service demands within the region.
Accredited Bulk Billing Clinic
GPs offer Bulk Billing to all patients on a Medicare card with the exceptions of: Workcover, TAC, Medicals (eg: Pre-employment, Insurance, Drivers Licence, etc.) and any items that are not claimable under Medicare. Please telephone the clinic so the Receptionist can advise you before making an appointment.

Dr. Rawa Fadheel has worked in Phillip Island and San Remo in the past, and she is back! Since Feb 2019, Rawa has been preparing for her Fellowship degree in General Practice FACRRM under the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. She spent her first- year training in Bega – NSW- and she moved back to Victoria to spend her next 2 years to continue her journey to gain her Fellowship. Rawa has a lot of experience in both Emergency Medicine and General Practice. Rawa is thrilled to be back and service the Community and surrounding districts of San Remo.

Dr. Ritu Parmar has worked in primary care in both general practice and hospital settings. She is Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada, and ECFMG certified in the USA, where she gained experience in many facets of general practice such as family practice, minor surgeries, women’s health, paediatrics and psychiatry.
Dr. Parmar is interested in all aspects of general practice with a particular focus on women’s and children’s health, antenatal care, family medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative health. She can also speak in Hindi fluently, and can converse in Punjabi and Urdu as well.
