Smiley Crane completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a medical degree (MBBS) from St George’s University of London, before specialising in general practice in London. She is a member of both the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Due to her special interest in women’s health and sexual health she completed the DRCOG (Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and holds a LoC (Letter of Competence) in both hormonal IUD and contraceptive implants insertions. Dr Crane is also qualified in minor surgical procedures such as skin lesion removal, joint injections and cryotherapy and has a keen interest in medical education. Dr Crane chose a career in general practice as it allows her to help patients take control of their health and wellbeing, to improve their quality of life. -
