Dr Thina Arulgnanaselvam
(General Practitioner, MBBS, FRACGP)

Dr. Thina (Thinushiya Arulgnanaselvam) is a dedicated General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), having obtained her fellowship in 2024. She began her medical career in Australia in 2016 after completing her medical degree in Sri Lanka, gaining extensive experience across various hospital departments before transitioning to General Practice. Her key areas of focus include preventive health, chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health (including Implanon insertion and removal, and antenatal care), children’s health, Indigenous health, and weight loss management.

Dr. Thina takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that each patient is empowered and involved in their health journey. She is passionate about building strong, supportive relationships with her patients, providing the time and attention needed to help them make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Dr. Michael Okonkwo has been serving the Northside of Brisbane for 15 years, providing comprehensive care to his diverse patient base. With a special interest in dermatology, he is skilled in diagnosing and managing skin conditions, as well as performing minor procedures to remove suspicious lesions.

Dr. Okonkwo also brings extensive experience in managing chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiac conditions, and respiratory disorders. His approachable and friendly demeanor has endeared him to many families, with children particularly enjoying his warm smile during visits.

Additionally, Dr. Okonkwo is proficient in women's health, including Mirena and Implanon insertions, offering personalized care to meet his patients' needs.

General Practitioner -
Dr Duncombe has been a GP at Stafford City Doctors since it’s opening in 2012. Dr Jenny studied at the University of Queensland and enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Dr Jenny has a specialist interest and additional training in Bariatric Care, also working with the Wesley Obesity Clinic.

Dr Jenny consults at Stafford City Doctors Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Dr Jenny’s books are currently open for her existing patient base and NEW Bariatric Patients. If you are a NEW Bariatric patient or an existing patient and have multiple things to discuss with Dr Duncombe, please ensure you book a long appointment.

General Practitioner -
Dr Manjit Singh is a much-loved and revered specialist GP from Townsville, where he has lived for the past twenty years.

He received the inaugural award for Townsville’s best GP trainer of the year in 2009. In 2016, he was recognised one of the best 60 GPs in whole of Australia.

He recently relocated to Brisbane to be with his daughter, who’s also studying to be a doctor. Dr Singh is originally from India, where he passed his MBBS and joined the Indian armed forces. He did specialist physician training in 1980 and cardiology training from 1988 in AFMC Pune.

After joining Queensland health in the year 2000 as a General Practitioner, Dr Singh worked in Normanton and Collinsville before moving to Townsville in 2005 where he remained ever since.

Being a Cardiologist and a Physician, his main interest has been in Cardiology. Besides this, he spends a considerable part of his practice time performing minor skin surgery.

He likes looking after patients with Chronic Health Conditions. He also enjoys Endocrinology, Travel Health, and Men’s Health. He loves children, who he makes his best friends.

Besides Medicine, Cricket is the passion of his life.

Dr Singh is available for face-to-face private consultations Monday to Friday.

Dietitian -
Rosie is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology. She enjoys cooking, keeping active, and spending time outdoors with her family, especially at the beach!

She is passionate about providing evidence-based nutrition and dietetic support, to both adults and children, with particular interest in chronic disease management, weight management, managing food allergies and intolerances, and improving gut health. General Practitioner -
Dr Kelly graduated from her undergraduate medical degree at James Cook University in 2006. She has been working as a fully qualified GP for ten years (FRACGP).

Dr Kelly has special and passionate interests in Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Expedition/Travel Medicine. She is experienced in Nutrition and Weight loss counselling, Skin cancer screening/ Dermatological conditions as well as Adolescent, Family and Women's health.

Dr Kelly is a keen sportsperson who has raced at a National and International level in triathlons, including world triathlon championship events in Switzerland, Germany, Vancouver, and Hawaii. She completed her first Ironman distance triathlon in Cairns in June 2011. Jacqui spends her spare time chasing her energetic 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter, both who love sport just as much as she does!

Dr. Jacqueline Kelly is available for privately billed face-to-face consults on Tuesdays and offers Privately Billed Telehealth appointments on all other weekdays.

General Practitioner -
Dr Michael Hill joined Stafford City Doctors in late 2017. Dr Hill has over 30 years of experience as a GP and has proudly served the Stafford community for over 20 years.

Dr Michael graduated from the University of QLD in 1985 and holds his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Michael is interested in all facets of General Practice, with a special interest in Skin Procedures.

Dr Michael consults at Stafford City Doctors Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7.30 am to 5:00 pm.

General Practitioner -
Dr Hema Modi joined Stafford City Doctors in 2016 after moving to Brisbane from Western Australia. Dr Hema completed her fellowship training in 2011 and holds her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Hema is passionate about providing holistic care across all areas of family medicine. Dr Hema has a keen interest in Preventative Care, Chronic Disease Management, Antenatal Care, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Paediatrics, Implanon Insertion and Removal, Travel Medicine and Workers Compensation.

Dr Hema works Monday to Friday and on a rotating Saturday roster. Please note our consultation fees have been revised. Dr Hema has now transitioned to private billing.

General Practitioner -
After graduating from the University of Auckland, Dr Chow completed his internship at the Gold Coast Hospital, where he spent most of his residency training years. He also relieved in rural hospitals from New South Wales to Far North Queensland prior to completing the RACGP examinations. Dr Chow has interests in chronic disease management and medical education. He holds teaching positions in clinical coaching of medical students at UQ, Griffith and Bond Universities.

Dr Colin consults at Stafford City Doctors Monday to Friday. Please note our consultation fees have been revised. Dr Colin has now transitioned to private billing.

General Practitioner & Geriatrician -
Dr Colin Kennett is a highly qualified Geriatrician (Aged Care Specialist) who visits Stafford City Doctors on Tuesday mornings. Dr Kennett has a special interest in cognition, capacity and facility. Dr Kennett is mainly based at Brisbane’s Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower.

Online bookings for Dr Kennett are not available. Please call the Stafford City Doctors reception team on 07 33566 7744 to make an appointment. Please have your referral ready from your GP to bring to your consultation with Dr Colin Kennett. Payment is required on the day of consultation.

General Practitioner -

Dr Finau Kaitu'u relocated with the doctors at Stafford Family Medical Practice to Stafford City Doctors in January, 2012. Dr Finau enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with particular interests in Adult and Child medicine, Pacific Island, Indigenous and Refugee Health.

Outside of work, Dr Kaitu'u enjoys Rugby, community and spending time with his family.

Dr Finau consults Monday to Friday and every second Saturday at Stafford City Doctors. Please note our consultation fees have been revised. Dr Finau has now transitioned to private billing.
